Observatory

On one of the most beautiful spots in Twente, near the famous town of Ootmarsum, lies the Cosmos observatory. The observatory has several exhibition rooms, a large cinema, a beautiful planetarium and the largest telescope in the Netherlands. Next to the observatory is the beautifully landscaped Star Garden. The little river Dinkel, which flows next to the observatory, completes this idyllic picture. Cosmos is one of the largest observatories in the Netherlands. A visit is therefore an unforgettable experience for young and old alike. Every year, 15,000 guests visit the observatory.
